The Sierra Nevada del Cocuy is the second most important mountain range in Colombia and has the highest heights of Cordillera Oriental. From the snowy edges, towards the west one descends to the boyacense plateau, to the north to the arid Cañon del Chicamocha and to the east to the hot plains of the plains. The Cocuy is special for the beauty and variety of the paramuns valleys, the peaks covered by glaciers and the water mirrors of the lagoons.

The collection of the Museo del Oro del Banco de la Republica has been declared National Monument and considered the most important of the world of its kind.   The museum that was created in 1939 by the Banco de la Republica, gathers nearly 34,000 pieces of gold and silverware, 20,000 pieces of stone, ceramics, textiles and precious stones belonging to the Quimbaya, Calima, Tayrona, Sinu, Muisca, Tolima, Tumaco And Malagana, among others. It is possible to admire exquisite gold.

Is located in the municipality of Sesquilé, formerly Chibcha cacicazgo, is the Laguna de Guatavita, the most famous of the sacred lagoons of this pre-Columbian culture because it was staged the legendary rite of El Dorado.

Cartagena de Indias is a beautiful city that has many scenarios that have been preserved since colonization becoming one of the cities with the largest history in the country. Among the main attractions are the castles and churches built from the colony; Torre del reloj to the main entrance of the walled city that surrounds the historical center; Plaza de los coches surrounded by mansions with wooden balconies and presided over by the Pedro de Heredia statue.

San Andrés is the only department composed of islands. Here tourists can marvel at the fabulous stories of pirates, the blowing hole, crystalline aquariums and small islands that go by boat.

Buga in Valle del Cauca, is famous for basílica del Señor de los Milagros, its full name is Guadalajara de Buga because it is crossed by the River Guadalajara. The city is one of the oldest in Colombia.
